Charming stay near the Camino

The casa is a delightful old building with beautiful stone architecture and an inviting garden area. I enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast, and the staff was exceptionally accommodating, offering transportation to a local restaurant.

However, the bathroom facilities could use an upgrade as they felt basic, and the Wi-Fi connection was intermittent during my stay. Being close to a busy road made it somewhat noisy at times.

The stone architecture is enchanting, and I enjoyed the hospitable staff, who readily arranged transport to nearby sights. Breakfast was delicious (especially the fresh fruit! ) and served at my convenience in a cozy garden setting.

The location is a bit tricky due to the busy road crossing for the Camino, which could use a marked path for safety.

Staying in the Deluxe Family Suite was great. The room had a comfy sofa bed and a nice spa bath, perfect for relaxing after a long hike. The bathroom featured free toiletries and a shower. The lounge had a cool mini bar. Breakfast was delightful with local goodies. Beautiful views from the garden area.

I truly enjoyed my stay at A Casa Da Meixida. The charming old stone house provided a peaceful atmosphere, and the breakfast was delightful, featuring local produce. The lovely garden was a nice touch, adding to the scenery during my visit.

The room provided a comfortable space for a night. While lack of personal greeting was a letdown, the quaint design and nearby cafeteria offered decent meals to refuel after a long day. Consider bringing earplugs due to noise from the highway.

After a long day hiking the Camino, we were greeted with warmth like family. They offered to cook for us, and the home-cooked tortilla de patatas was a culinary revelation, it felt like a slice of heaven after days on the trail.

The off-site dinner was pretty pricy, but worth the splurge for that night.
